ChalkyDigits have to be one of my most recent discoveries after stopping into the surf shop just before the Tutukaka Game Fishing club. I thought it was going to be your typical surf shop with Billabong, Ripcurl and the likes, but they had a number of other clothes on the racks too. ChalkyDigits are NZ made clothes that take the kiwi approach of being laid back, but looking great! The materials are fantastic, with mix of merino wool and organic cotton, and their designs are totally understated. Stockists are around NZ so check out the website and see if there is a shop near you ... or on your way somewhere ... that may just have a few of their great designs.
